On August 6, 1998 Don received a letter from Steinway & Sons,
officially welcoming him to the distinguished international roster of Steinway Artists.

Although he had long been considered a member of the Steinway Artist family through his professional involvement with their piano, they felt it was most appropriate that they now formalize his affiliation with them.
